What a great way to round out our service year! The 2024 Circle K International convention in Denver, Colorado, U.S.,
was packed full of fun activities, celebrations and learning. For the second year in a row, CKI held our convention alongside the Kiwanis International convention, allowing for networking opportunities and deeper integration between the two organizations. Here are a few highlights of CKI’s biggest event:
On opening night, participants decorated CKI totes during the ice cream fellowship event. We took advantage of the holiday week by having a night of exploration in Denver on July 4.
There were several opportunities to connect with CKI alumni, and there was an exciting announcement of a new mentoring program, which will roll out on the alumni network in the months to come.
At our service project, we worked with Sweet Dream in a Bag by donating books and creating bookmarks for children in need.
At the House of Delegates, representatives approved five bylaw changes—including a dues increase that will help continue funding for CKI support and initiatives — and elected the 2024-25 CKI board.
And our closing ceremony celebrated many of CKI’s amazing accomplishments this year. Congratulations to all the 2023-24 award winners!
