Hi all! My name is Alyssa, and I am currently a grad student at The College of New Jersey, studying English and Urban Education. After school, I hope to become a high school English teacher. I found Circle K during my freshman year at our involvement fair and have been a member ever since. Outside of Circle K, you can find me reading, running or binge-watching reality competition shows.
What are you most looking forward to about your year as governor?
I am so excited to see all our members continue to grow as leaders and build confidence in themselves this year! The best parts about Circle K for me have been the relationships I’ve made and the love and support everyone has given me. The thought of being a small part of that for New Jersey’s members is so exciting.
Favorite CKI Memory
My favorite memory is from Insight 2019! All our TCNJ members got together for lunch the day after and just talked about the weekend and where we wanted to see our club go after that experience.
Favorite Service Project
My favorite service projects are when we get to work with middle and high school students. As a future teacher, I love being able to tutor or work alongside teenagers towards a common goal.
