Global Leadership Certificate Program
How do I register for the Global Leadership certificate?
There is no registration. Members can start immediately if their personal emails are included on their clubs’ rosters. Students can access the courses by clicking a hyperlink in Kiwanis Connect (Kiwanis.org/login). There are step-by-step directions for starting the coursework here.
What do I do if I cannot log into Kiwanis Connect?
First, make sure your club advisor or secretary has included your personal email on the club’s roster through the Membership Update Center. You may change or create a password to Kiwanis Connect by clicking on the Change Password link. Will this program be held online weekly or on-demand (for example: Zoom or Google Meet)?
Global Leadership Certificate courses can be accessed through Kiwanis Connect (Kiwanis.org/login). Courses are self-paced and can be accessed any time. Students will need a web browser.

How long does it take to complete each course?
Course length varies, but most take about an hour to complete.
Will participants receive community service hours from this program?
The Global Leadership Certificate does not count toward community service.
Approximately how many hours per week are participants expected to spend on the course?
Courses are self-paced. Students can log in and log out of the Kiwanis Connect portal at their convenience.
Is there a cost to complete courses?
There is no additional costs for members of clubs in good standings to participate in the Global Leadership Certificate. Grants from the Kiwanis Children’s Fund, Tomorrow Fund and Youth Opportunity Fund were awarded to initiate the program.
Do we get a certificate at the end of this course?
Yes! You will also receive a certificate after completing all 39 courses.
What work is required for completion?
Each course has a short video, content and wrap-up activity.
