This training is designed for clubs, youth leaders and adult allies to introduce the concepts of child rights, the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) and youth-led action and advocacy at the local level. The training uses participatory discussion, activities and exercises to address the need for social change and strategies for individual empowerment, community-building and local action. With awareness of the CRC, participants can apply a child-rights lens to real-world experiences and begin learning how to advocate with a child-rights approach in their communities. |
