Welcome to 2025! I hope you’re all as excited as I am for the opportunities this new year brings and for all the possibilities within CKI. Last year was full of countless CKI memories and experiences, and we can’t wait to see what each of you will achieve in 2025.
The start of the new school semester is the perfect time to focus on growing our CKI family! Many students are eager to become involved on their campuses and make lasting friendships. This is the moment for your club to actively recruit new members and participate in the “Strive for 10” campaign. This initiative encourages all clubs to recruit 10 new members this year, allowing all of us to make a greater impact on our schools and communities. Take a moment to talk to your classmates about CKI, invite them to a meeting and share the value of joining our organization — sometimes, a personal invitation is all it takes to inspire someone to join!
Additionally, district conventions are right around the corner, and they are an excellent way to deepen your CKI involvement! Some of my favorite CKI memories are from district conventions I have attended. There is no better way to connect with fellow members, gain new leadership skills and learn how to better serve your club. Attending your district convention also gives you the chance to take on a district-level leadership role, allowing you to expand your influence and help create positive change in CKI. Whether you’re looking to serve at the club, district or international level, 2025 is the perfect year for you to take the next step in your CKI journey.
The most exciting CKI event of 2025 will be our convention in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U.S., June 25-27, 2025. The convention will feature unforgettable fellowship activities, insightful workshops, meaningful service projects, impactful sessions and so much more. Pittsburgh is a fantastic city to explore, with a vibrant arts scene, beautiful views, diverse food options and outdoor adventures. I can’t wait to see all of you and share an incredible experience this summer!
As we begin 2025, I encourage each of you to reflect on the positive impact you’ve made in your community as a CKI member and think about how you can further your service in the year ahead. CKI is the perfect place for personal growth and leadership development, and the skills you build in CKI will help you grow and flourish throughout college and in your careers. Take this new year to focus on finding ways to enhance your CKI experience, create positive change and continue to grow as a leader.
