CKI members love to serve, and now there are two opportunities a year to receive grants to help clubs do just that.
Tomorrow Fund grants will now be awarded two times a year. Applications will be accepted from April 1 to June 1 for the new grant cycle. These applications will be approved by the Circle K International Board of Trustees during the convention in July.
Applications will still be accepted from October 1 to December 1 for grants that will be approved in January.
In another big change, clubs can receive grant money before the project is completed. Previously, clubs were reimbursed for expenses. Clubs can continue to request grants from US$200 to $2,000.
The CKI board hopes these changes make it easier for clubs to conduct service projects that create a meaningful impact on their campuses and in communities.
In recent years, clubs have used grants for projects that improve the lives of schoolchildren, families without homes, cancer patients and people who are food insecure. Clubs have also received grants to promote sustainable lifestyles and improve the environment.
