59TH ANNUAL CIRCLE K INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION
The Circle K International convention and Large Scale Service Project will take place June 17-22, 2014 at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville, TN.

Please remember that by registering for CKIx and clicking that you accept the terms of the Circle K International Convention Code of Conduct, you agree to respect the authority of the Sergeant-at-Arms Committee and understand infractions of the Convention Code of Conduct will be reported by the Committee to the International Board of Trustees and the Director of Circle K International. You also understand that appropriate action will be taken for any infractions, including dismissal from the convention at your expense. All CKI convention attendees are required to stay at the Loews Vanderbilt, Nashville Hotel. Attendees are responsible for making their own sleeping room reservations directly with the hotel. Attendees are also responsible for paying for their own hotel room, taxes, and incidental charges. The deadline for attendees to make hotel reservations with the hotel is 2:00 PM PDT on June 1, 2014.

To get the most out of your convention experience, we suggest you plan to arrive on Tuesday, June 17, and depart on Sunday, June 22, 2014.
Up to four people may share a room at the convention rate. Roommates should plan to arrive and depart on the same day. If you arrive earlier or stay later, you will pay a higher share of the room rate, based on room occupancy each night. CKI will not match roommates. Check with your district leaders if you need roommate assistance.
Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is 12:00 p.m.
CONTEST INFORMATION Club Awards
Club awards are to be delivered to the registration desk at the convention. Any club not attending the convention but wishing to apply for awards, should have their awards packet postmarked on or before June 1, 2014, to guarantee it makes the shipment to convention for judging. HOUSE OF DELEGATES INFORMATION
Only dues-paid members of clubs in good standing (having paid for at least 15/10 members), as verified by the Circle K club, are eligible to be convention delegates. Club delegates should be elected by May 15, 2014. If a club member is not able to represent the club, the club may vote to have the current or immediate past lieutenant governor for the division or any other current district officer represent the club’s voice to the House of Delegates.

MEET THE CANDIDATES
An information packet has been prepared for all those endorsed for international office. This information will let you know what is expected of you if you are elected to the Circle K International Board of Trustees. It will answer questions about time requirements, expenses, travel, board meetings and training, as well as other topics. Circle K International board members are expected to fulfill the obligations and responsibilities outlined in this bulletin.
